Release: Barairo no Hoo no Koro ch05

Barairo no Hoo no Koro v01ch05: Download

Sorry for the delay! I've been busy packing my stuff all day, since I've just been accepted into university (does a pirouette on the spot). This is the last chapter of the main story. Quite a ride, if you ask me. There is an extra in this volume too, but since it takes place after J no Subete, we wanted to release it after we'd scanlated J no Subete. We wanted to release it in chronological order, you see. If you want to know more about the order in which this should be read, check the Current Projects page.

We had planned J no Subete v01ch03 as our next release, but it seems that we have a project clash with Echochi Scans, whom just released the whole first volume. It saddens me that this happened, since we'd already begun working quite hard on it. Sigh. We'll see how it goes from here...

  1. I'm sorry that ou had a clash about J no Subete, it's sad since you teams have the same goal.
I feel sympathetic since I know what it feels like to work on a scanlation and never see it released.
Anyway, that's noone of my business, I better should thank you for your hard work and for Barairo's release. :-)

  2. Hi, first of all I want to thank you for this release, I want to see how all of these tie together with each other. Second, I feel for you guys, who have had J no Subete on your future projects since a while back, and kinda had all that hard work taken away. Not to say that they didn't work hard, but yeah. My sentiments. Hopefully this will not affect future releases.

    Anyways, thanks. <3

  3. Thank you for your hard work and sharing a new chapter with us today! Happy 801 Day, too!!! About the J no Subete clash, release your version anyway! ;-D Just because another group releases a title doesn't mean another group can't, in my opinion. Every group brings their own style and translations to the table. I personally like to read more than one version of a work because it helps me understand the meaning better. I probably say that because I am a language/linguistics major, but more than one version is not bad. Besides, your work will have your own unique quality that your fans will appreciate. Thank you again for the new release.

  4. About J no Subete, Echochi really has us surprised. I totally feel you, but since the yalready did it (And they did it nicely), maybe it's time to work on other promising projects, right? Please don't feel bad about it. Anyway, thanks for putting so much effort to bring us this chapter despite your busy real life. Congrats on your moving, hopefully yoi'll adapt to your new life as a uni student soon :). There'd be so much fun you'll see ^^

I'm still looking forward to your future releases!

  5. Knowing Echochi's sluglike pace, we won't see J no Subete volume 2 and 3 for a few years. Just go ahead with the future volumes. They probably heard you were interested in it and worked on it faster.

Are you guys doing 2 shukkan no adventure?

    1. Yes, and as it stands, we'll be doing the last three chapters of that next, since it chronologically comes after v01 of J no Subete. Our release pattern has become a bit messed up, so I don't know when it'll be ready though. Stay tuned!

    2. Note: we'll also scanlate the other chapters of 2 Shuukan no Adventure later on.

    3. That is awesome to hear. Don't let the other group deter you. It was lying untouched till they heard someone else was doing it.

  6. Thanks so much for this chapter! And if you've worked a lot in J no Subete, you can release it as well! I have stories with version from different groups because each one gives it a special touch.
    Cheers!

  7. ★´∀`★《CONGRATULATIONS!!》☆´∀`☆ Have a blast at uni~

Thanks so much for this chapter! And about J--please do whatever you want! :D Release it anyway, work on future volumes, find another project... it's all fine. Much as I want to read your stuff, the important thing is that you enjoy what you're doing.

  9. Forgive me if I've not yet commented, I'm rather pants at navigating through blogs and such (anything that isn't LJ really since it took my old mind a few intensive months (years?) to know how to use that), but I just wanted to say how deeply I adore you babes for taking on Nakasu material. She is one of my most cherished BL mangakas in ever, I've been obsessed with her for so many years so it's wonderful to see more teams taking on her genius.

So, THANK YOU. Again, my apologies if this reply got wonky somewhere...oTL

  14. Thank you so much! Happy 801 day!!!!!!!1

And I'd love to read your version of J no Subete. Scanlating comes first from our satisfaction when connecting deeply with the story we love. So if you want to continue with JnS, go ahead :D

I just have a small question: do your projects have fix genre as yaoi/shounen-ai? Or you just simply scanlate what you love without a fix genre?

    1. Thank you very much!

We don't really have any fixed genre, but Sparviero and I started working together because of Nakamura Asumiko and Barairo no Hoo no Koro. We just scanlate what we both find interesting. :) Never know what we'll pick in the future.

  16. Thank you all for your kind words! It means a lot to us!

Since we still haven't gotten a reply from Echochi Scans, we don't really know anything about what will happen from here. We'll give an update when we know...anything. Hahaha.
